Sacred Compass: This Gave Me Hope This Week (Maybe It Will for You Too)

Hi Reader,

If you’ve glanced at the news lately, you’ll know, it’s heavy out there(!) So much noise. So much division. It’s easy to feel like the world is drifting in the wrong direction.

But this week, I came across a story that felt like a ray of sunshine. A reminder that change is happening quietly, steadily, and in ways that speak directly to the work we do as coaches.

A coalition of purpose-led companies, including names like Dr. Bronner’s, Gaia Herbs, and Numi Tea, has come together to launch something called The Purpose Pledge. It’s a powerful commitment to walk their talk when it comes to people, planet, and profit, not just in theory, but in practice.

Living wages. Ethical sourcing. Climate-positive action. Philanthropy. Integrity at every level.

And it made me think of you.

Of us.

Of the quiet, committed work so many of us are doing every day to help others lead with resonance, to build businesses that align with soul, and to stand for something real in a world that often rewards performance over purpose.

It’s working.

So this is just a note to say: take heart. You’re part of something much bigger than you may realize.

If you’d like to read more, you can explore the full story here: purposepledge.org

And perhaps take a quiet moment to reflect:

How aligned are you and your coaching with your deeper purpose right now?

Is anything asking to shift?

With love and encouragement,

🎧 What We Don’t: Inaction in the Face of Suffering and the Drive to Do More with Nick Cooney

This conversation really stayed with me. Nick Cooney brings a rare blend of heart, data, and practicality to one of the hardest truths we face as changemakers: why we so often don’t act in the face of suffering—and what we can do about it. If you’ve ever felt called to do more but unsure where to begin, this episode is for you.

Emergence: The Deeper Call to Coaches in a Time of Crisis

If you haven’t read it yet, this is a piece I wrote straight from the heart. It explores the deeper shifts I believe we’re being called into as coaches—not just to help others cope, but to guide from a place of truth, resonance, and regeneration. In a world unraveling, emergence may just be the most important path we can walk.

Book recommendation: The Money Catalyst by Leisa Peterson đź“–

Ready to change your relationship to wealth and abundance?

I discovered "The Money Catalyst" by my good friend Leisa Peterson, which explores our relationship with money through an engaging story rather than dry financial advice.

It’s Mirabel's journey from scarcity to true abundance, introducing eight transformative "Money Catalysts" along the way.

"Don't always worry about what you lack. Focus on valuing what you have. Look for the hidden opportunities in every situation."

Hi Reader, If we’re honest, most of us don’t love being on the edge of the unknown. It’s uncomfortable. It asks more of us than just having a plan. It asks us to trust something deeper. To listen before we act. That’s exactly where I’ve been lately sitting at the edges of my comfort, feeling the old ways loosen their grip, and something new beginning to stir. I’ve been writing about it too, in a new white paper on Emergence, which I have shared with a few trusted colleagues. Their responses...

Hi Reader, Lately, I’ve been sitting with some big questions. About coaching. About what’s changing. About the space between where we’ve been and where we’re being called next. If you’re anything like me, you can feel it too, that sense that the old ways don’t quite fit anymore. The formulas, the pressure to perform, the constant noise telling us how we should grow… it can leave us feeling disconnected from the very reason we began this work in the first place. This is where I find myself...

Hi Reader, As we move through a potent season of astrological shifts, there’s a palpable energy in the air—a deep stirring that beckons us to pay attention to both the cosmos above and the wisdom within. These astrological events—eclipses, retrogrades, and planetary alignments, are not just happening in the sky; they’re reverberating through our collective experience and offering us opportunities to reflect and recalibrate. Whether astrology is your thing or not, maybe you are feeling the...
